- Acrylic - lightweight, shatter resistant, good for general use, economical, easy maintenance.
- Stainless Steel - unbreakable, easy to clean, vandal-proof, more expensive, good for sterile environments.
- Glass - heavier and very breakable (DuraVision™ no longer manufactures glass mirrors due to the safety hazard with breakage).
